We are very fortunate that LCCC has been so supportive
of our youth athletic program. Please thank Dr. Roy Church, President LCCC, and Kathleen Majoris,
Director of Physical Education, the next time you see them! LCCC's support
for Westside Lacrosse is yet another tremendous service LCCC provides for Lorain County.
Who plays on your team?
Westside Lacrosse is a public service, volunteer organization serving
Middle School (U14) and Youth (U12) players from
communities in Western Cuyahoga and Lorain County.
Players from Independence, Fairview Park, Lakewood, Cleveland,
Avon, Avon Lake, Bay Village, Westlake, and North Olmstead were part of last
year's teams.
Given the outstanding program run by Kim Russell (see below), our organization
currently only sponsors
boys teams.
Girls Teams
Kim Russell sponsors teams for 4th-8th grade girls.
More information is
available through the
SticksUp Website or through the
eTeamz Website!
How much does it cost?
There are two fees: Spring League players must be members of USLacrosse and also
must pay a Westside Lacrosse fee. Although part of the uniform
is included in the Westside Lacrosse Spring fee, players are responsible
to provide their own jersey and safety equipment. For the Fall Clinic and the Indoor League
you are not required to be a member of USLacrosse, but it is highly recommended.
